power usage cost

hi ya all ive been trying to work out how much per hour it costs to run a 700 watt heater,its a oil filled radiator.

Whilst its actually "on" it will cost you 70% of the cost you are paying for each electrical "unit".

Say this is 14pence, then its going to cost you just under 10 pence per hour whilst its "on".

The big question is how long its actually "on" and this depends on what temperature you set on the thermostat [assuming it has one].

Anyway on that 14p/unit estimate is going to cost
