Powrtouch classic problem

I have a powrtouch classic which I have not used for some time until this week. The leisure battery is fine and the remote battery has been replaced. However, when I try to engage the mover nothing happens other than a slight electronic sound. The green light is on in the control box asxit should and the remote seems to light up as it should too.

I have searched online for answers but can't find anything similar.

Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated.

Check that the battery terminals are tight. We had a similar problem, leisure battery fine but one terminal a bit loose. Worked fine once tightened.

Just adding to Mel’s advice you should also check that the cables in the terminals are tight too.
Plus Clive as we have both experienced the actual spade connectors on the two motors. Clean them up, spray with electrical contact spray. Crimp the female bits for a tight fit and with a bit of luck….

I could wax lyrical about the gaiters that perish and allow water ingress, and my “patented “ approach to ensuring it cannot happen again. Must see if I can find the link.
Here it is:

Thanks, everyone. I have not managed to get back down to the caravan (in storage) to check these out yet but will give you an update when I do.
