Powrtouch Problems

Could anyone help me with a Powrtouch problem please! I believe that this is a Powrtouch no1. (It's the older style remote)
The roller wheel on the right of the van will not run forwards or move to the right, fine in reverse, I have changed the brushes on the motor, re mapped the remote checked all wiring, made sure that the batterys are fully charged.
I just don't know what to try next!
Any help would be gratefully received.

It sounds like the hand controller is not sending the signal to the control box. Or the box is not receiving the signal.
Like the TV controller the buttons can get dirty and or a dry solder joint can arise.Try stripping down the remote, clean it and spray electrical contact spray.
Let us know how you get on.

Borrow and sync a friend's older type handset as a cheap way to isolate that as a possible cause?
Mine, which exhibited similar issues was a old type handset failure, though other failures could cause the same.

Powertouch have a good reputation for customer service. If the advice given does not work it would be a good idea to ring them and see if they can help.
