Powrtouch Rollers

I've used the above since around 2001 with no problem. The rollers are the black ' gritted' type ( second set since new), and I think that they are starting to wear a bit smooth. Has anyone changed theirs from the 'old' gritted type to the newer alloy rollers, and if so, are they an improvement?

Thanks for quick reply Damian. Do they grip better than the old one's? I saw some recently ( on a Truma mover I think) that were alloy, but still had the gritty bits moulded into it. Are Powertouch that type - or the ribbed one,s?

The Powrtouch ones are a bit like a paint roller for Artex and should wear a lot better(than the old rollers not an Artex roller!)

Performance of the 2 when new would be about the same I should think but the alloy ones should last longer

They certainly grip well if the crumbs of tyre are anything to go by when using a wedge/ramp
