Price of Diesel in France

Anyone been to france recently

What is the approx cost of Diesel currently ?

We are going to france in three weeks and asked a friend of ours who was there last month about the price of diesel, he said he had paid an average of 70 pence per litre, so its quite cheap towards our prices.

came back last week. In CAEN as you come off the ferry it was 1.07 Euro. General RN and autoroutes varied between 1.16-1.22 Euro, and supermarkets at 1.06-1.11 Euro.

if you car uses oil check out supermarket prices for lub oil. Geant were selling 5 litres Shell Helix full synthetic at 34 Euro were we pay

We were in France May/June - cheapest we found 1Euro, but usually 1.06/07

Diesel as gone up in Francee too.

At hypermaches its around 1.07 euros, but the most expensive we saw was 1.22 euros on the motorways.

Gazole currently _1.05 at our local SuperU. The good thing about fuel prices over here is that at least they come down as well as up!

I'm off to the shops in a bit, so I'll get some up to the minute prices for you.
