If it is the red bottle you will need the red propane regulator. Just cut off the old blue one, put some washing liquid onto the regulator pipe bit and push on the hose and tighten the hose onto the pipe bit with a clamp!

Would suggest that for peace of mind buy new regulator and new pipe.
