PROXIMITY ALARMS

Hi,

Has anyone any information/experiance of Proximity Alarms which flash and then sound when persons come within a defined distance. Some motorbikes have these and there are some about for Motor/Caravans to deter intruders especially on Aires from trying to break in.

Any experiances, costs and do they work, experiances would be helpful

Hi

I have just purchased a couple of these alarms which work great on the door and on the bedroom window which we like to keep slightly open at night.

On one of them I have just extended the sensivity loop (strap) by wrapping adding a lenght of 12v cable in a bigger loop and extended this across the window - it alarms as soon as anyone touches or moves the window.

On the door you just hang it on the inside handle and it alams as soon as the outside door handle is touched.

Nice and cheap too!!
