Pump not pumping !

Hi , I have a Bailey Wyoming 2007 with a whale inboard water pump.

We last used it over christmas and it did not get frozen or anything - but when i tried it yesterday it made all the right noises but did not pump the water !

It would not fill the heater and when i switched it over to fill the inboard tank nothing happened. It makes all the right noises.

Any ideas ?

A couple of thoughts:

A possibility is that air is getting in on the suction side; are you sure things did not freeze such as the residual water trapped in the inlet filter?[ assuming it has a pre-pump filter as these pumps ought]. If that froze it could crack the filter housing.

Also these pumps are susceptible to debris sticking open the discharge valves which stop them pumping.

If the pump is plugged in the wrong way around (reverse polarity) it wll make the right noises but will be trying to suck.

could be a block does the pump sound slow due to a lack of water dont burn it out .

pressure switch maybe needs adjusting
