Could have been worse, in some counties you would have had to replace both tyres on the axle!

At least Dusty didn't have to use a noodle to effect a temporary repair. My granddaughter got a puncture near Llandovery when visiting a construction site. The goo kit and compressor wouldn't work as the puncture was too large. So someone fixed temporary repair with a noodle and she drove home very carefully and stayed with the trucks on the M4, somewhat shocked when I told her it was possibly an illegal fix. She got a new tyre the next day and her company refunded her the cost. This Friday she's buying spare wheel/tyre.
