A moment of carelessness led to a small tear in the roof of our Compactalite 400 awning. Any recommended repair products or techniques, either temporary or longer term? Or even accounts of what hasn't worked!

PVC Awning repair?

Don't know if this would help but when our youngest put a pencil through our awning window which he regretted by the look on his face when he realised what he had done we quickly put a bit of duct tape just finger nail size over the whole and that's done the problem , don't know how big your tear is on the roof but maybe you need to lay it out on the ground and put a bit tape on either side , should give you a temporary fix until someone who has a better idea cones along , 🤔

For a repair to a clear PVC window, 'Gorilla clear repair tape' would be ideal. (I did a 'temporary' repair to a south-facing window 2 years ago, and it is still perfectly clear and waterproof).
