Hi, just wondered if any of you know anything about Pyramid Awnings, I have been looking at them in the Towsure book, they seem to have the same quality as many others, but not as expensive, I think Pyramid are the new kids on the block as far as full awnings go, if anyone has one, are you happy with the quality,? and the Awning itself.?

Cheers Shiba.

We bought one secondhand off ebay, only used twice last year

by the previous owners.

It looks pretty good as does the quality and has extra strapping

pionts as standard for those really windy days.

We are happy with it.

I think it is a case of being a youngish company

Hi Sheba just bought one from Frontier Leisure of Abergaveny. They have a web page www.fronteir-leisure.co.uk. They are very competative. offer an excellent mail order service and are also very helpful.

Thanks for the replies, I will look at the Frontier web page, pleased to hear that you are satisfied with your awnings, so will have to order one this weekend, I thought they looked good value for money, just wanted to be sure that there was no bad feedback.

Cheers.

Hi, I have just had a reply from another forum, refering to my awning query, and I was told NO NO NO NO, it is chinese crap, it will not last, so I am now really confused, as I have not seen this awning to look at the quality, I can't make a judgement myself, I will wait a few more days before ordering, to see if I get any more comments,2-1 in favour so far.

Ours will be a year old this June.

Very easy to erect cos of the quick lock poles, sewn-in tie down buckles, zip up window vent, removable sides and fronts, and curtains that dont look like a throw back to the seventies, AND cheap in price.

It will never last as long as top brand stuff, but then you aint paying 3 or 4 times the price.

Top tip if you do buy one, is replace the std awning pole pads with Dormea ones.

Dont let the "cheap chinese crap" label put you off.

Even if it is made in china, its a fair assumption that

it will be a match for any awning made here at twice the

price.

These days you are more than likely to find a vast majority

of items here now manufactured there.

As you say so many things are made in China now, and lots of them are well made, so I will not let the Label bother me,this company are fairly new I think in the full awning area, so I can't see them

putting inferior goods on the market, and lots of Caravan Companies are stocking Pyramid Awnings, I have ordered the Corsican to be delivered next week, we will have a look at it,but will not be using it until mid April, I will certainly let you know my comments, on our return.thanks for the reply.
