Question about carver water heater

Does anyone have any best practice info regarding the operation of the carver water heater. Is it ok to leave the heater on all of the time or is it better practice to only turn the heater on 20 minutes or so before you need hot water then turn it off again? If its left on is it likely to drain the gas? Any advice would be great,

Regards

David

We keep the water on when we are at the van during the day and evening and switch off at night or if leaving the van for the day. The heater cuts in and out when it needs, we have never noiced it eating into the gas supply.

David; I agree wth 'euro'; we leave ours set to 50C and it's on all day except at night or if we are away for a full day. Otherwise, it's just quietyly keeping the water warm; only using gas when it needs to.
