Question about water heater

Hi there, just a quick question from my other half ... is he right in presuming that the water heater will run off gas also? Is there a switch to switch over to gas? We have a 2010 Swift Challenger 570. Thanks in advance Lisa.

Both your water heater and your fridge will run using gas Lisa.
I'm not sure exactly where it will be in your Swift (it might be above the tv worktop opposite the sink) but there's usually a thermostat for the water heater on the wall, often near to the one used for the blow air heating if fitted. After ensuring that all gas connectors and valves are on, turn the outer ring of the stat and a green light should come on then set the desired water temperature.

Dunno if this is on the video but we had a swift and to run the water heater on gas you also had to make sure that the outside vent cover was off otherwise the gas would not stay lit.

Thanks so much, it's all coming back to us now from the handover, we remember something about vent covers and it blowing off if not removed. Thanks guys, much appreciated! Lisa.
