Why do window cleaners always call for payment when you have no money on you?

He's walking up the drive now and I just gave my husband the £20 I had in my purse and he's five miles away.

Lisa If the window cleaner is OK with a cheque does that mean he is employing migrant labour :0)

Lisa if the window cleaner was prepared to accept a cheque how much did you owe him? Next thing he be saying he will accept plastic credit cards and have a card link so that he can be paid. The majority of household window cleaners in south Wales are generally moonlighting and will only accept cash. Now here's a job for Liz as she said she was coming to Wales to moonlight - she has already got a mop and bucket so she is well prepared.

To all you who employ a window cleaner - buy a bugalow and then the wife can reach the windows off a chair. It saves me the hassle of holding the ladder for her if we had first floor windows.

Can't help living in the West End !!!!! .I keep telling Val I'm going to get the valuer in to see what this place is worth. She said " I'm not living in a caravan so you can count the money in the bank book " So that idea went out the WINDOW
