Questions to Mod re: 'Forum Search' facility

1. Where are the replies dated before February 2006? Lost in Nirvana?

2. Why does one have to through each page of a Forum Search result in sequence, starting at the first, unable to jump straight to an older page?

Lutz, sorry for the delay in replying.

The server,as I am given to understand, is not exactly the best in the world, and is having trouble with searching, posting, and other admin tasks,as I am sure is very noticeable at times.

I am also given to understand that there is a move to new servers in the very near future, which will resolve most, if not all, the problems until a new engine and web site are put in place.

In the meantime, sorry for any inconvenience this causes

Let's hope that the old steam driven engine which on occasion runs out of coal will be replaced by state of the art turbo diesel with lots more torque(talk)available.

Perhaps the hard pressed mods will then be able to put away the oil can and greasy rag in place of more fitting attire.
