Hi everyone just two questions for all you experience caravanners I,m thinking of re-sealing all the rails of A.B.I due to water ingress ive had the window resealed and but still getting water in . Carn,t see any where else where it can penetrate, any advice and is it a tricky job.My next question would it be posible to fit a electrical pump to my thetford toilet to aid flushing . i think it was covered in a back issue of P.C. I will have a glance through unless someone comes up with it but it seemed relatively OK apart from getting the screws out from what I can remember

Hi Lee,

it`s not difficult but can be a bit a bit of a pain getting all the old sealant off.

We used to have an old ABI Transtar (quality van!)and that had stainless screws which dont rust, if your doesn`t have them, use some when putting the rail back. And get a mate to help so you dont bend the rail.
