Help???

I,ve got an avondale avocet van,when i,ve got the awning on and it rains the water tracks around the back of the awning tape within the rail result one wet interior. anybody got any ideas how to fix the problem .....

Hi Gary, It could be that your problem is caused by the low awning rail on Avondale vans. Most continental awnings have to be modified to fit the low rail correctly. Is your awning suitable for the low height?

You don't say how old the awning is so it could be that it needs reproofing in the problem area.

If it's a new awning, they can leak particularly on the sewn seams when they first get wet but the needle holes close up and then you shouldn't get the trouble again.
