Rapid Increase

Has anyone else noticed the rapid increase on the ferry prices both Sea france and P&O.

we do a few days away before Xmas, but prices have seemed to jump this last fortnight.

I'm hoping there's ging to be a special offer soon.
 
Perhaps the increase is because Speedferries, who provided serious competition on prices, has gone into administration.
 
Their boat was siezed by the port authority at Boulogne on 6th November, and they announced that they were in administration on 13th November - see http://www.speedferries.com/ for latest news.
