I have a toyota lucida estima 2.2 turbo diesel mpv the chassis weight is 1700kg the total chassis is 2085kg the drivers hand book only gives the two weights not a curb which one of the two weights do i use for the 85% to find the cars towing weight can some one help iam looking to buy a twin axle caravan

The towing weight limit need not necessarily be 85% of the kerbweight. Some vehicles have a maximum permissible towload which is actually LESS than 85%.

As the Lucida is a 'grey' import, data may be difficult to come by, so I'd recommend you have a look at the Lucida/Estima Owners' Club website. Maybe they can help you with the details you need.
