Rear Garage Door on Compass Corona or similar.

Does anyone have any comments good or bad about the rear garage door on the Compass Corona 556 or Elldis etc???

Hi Graham, you didn't say where you bought the van, how have they dealt with this complaint, perhaps you ought to change your tactics!!

A caravan gets towed behind a car and thats where the similarity with the car industry ends.....unfortunately.

Rob, not sure where John is going with that comment but as you correctly noticed I was just after comments good or bad with reference to the rear garage door. Bought In Sheffield by the way John.

Hi,

We have an Avante 556 and the rear storage is great. We don't really use it to it's fullest as we normally leave the bunk down and made up for our daughter, but keep all of our chairs, winbreaks etc under here.

You can lift the lower bunk up and secure it, thereby making the storage space even bigger. I've seen some people post that they carry their bikes in here, but I'm a little wary of putting more weight way at the back of the rig, as there's also a large clothes cubboard with shelves back there too.

The door can collect a little condensation during the night, but nothing to worry about.

Our dealer also fitted a couple of extra clips on the inside as he reckoned that the only door lock was a little flimsy.

I like it.
