Rear light cluster- help please.

Hi all

Excuse me if I'm not using the right technical terms! When putting down the steadies, the jack (? handle thingie) came off & whacked into the rear light cluster, cracking the lens. How do we go about getting a replacement? It is an all-in-one sealed unit for a Swift Rapide (says something like "Jokon" on it).

Thanks for any help

Sue

the age of the van will determine how easy you can get one,if it is a rapide I think it is a few years old and you might struggle, try a Swift dealer or the Swift owners club, failing that if it only cracked can you not mend it with super glue.

Hi,

on a recent issue of PC there was an article on caravan breakers and the mag gave lots of contact details. From memory it was only one or two issues back. Have a look through the back numbers section.

Jokon have their own webpage, www.jokon.de, with a full downloadable catalogue of all the light lenses they supply. They have a UK agents at:

Jokon GB at Poole, Dorset.

Tel 01202/679121

Fax 01202/665773

Who will supply spares, although they are not always that keen. They prefer to deal with dealers. Jokon in Germany are very helpful.

Good luck
