Reccomend porch awning ?

Hi, bought our first caravan, went into farmers field today to put full orion awning up, started but got to windy looks aright pain.

Porch awnings look much easier anybody recomend any type manfacturer? Any help appreciated.

I have a Dorema Hilton porch awning.

When I bought it last year, it was the best value I could find at the time.

It has the light weight glass fibre poles as standard.

Construction is similar to a full size awning - I actively avoided the flexible tent pole type(Suncamp), as I have a neighbour who binned his after first use as it was hopeless in windy conditions.

We have got a suncamp 360 and it is idea for us. It's light easy to put up and it withstands the wind quite good. We also have a porchlite-xl and that stood its ground down dorset last year while some people took theirs down because of the wind we left ours up as it was full of our stuff and i got up in the night to check it and it never moved (unlike some other awninds). They are both easy to put up and don't take up much room when stowed away.
