Since when has right or wrong had any thing to do with the law.

Justice is to do with right & wrong, I find that the law seems more about ways of taking money of of Joe Public.

This safety check stated they recorded 16 vehicles as unsafe.

Ok that is a black & white issue.

Either there is nothing wrong at all = Safe

Or you might just have a marker light bulb out = Unsafe.

As we 4x4 people have found out to our cost, statistics can say many things depending on who is reading them and what they want to see.

Unless you have the full facts in front of you, i don't see how it can help to get 'up in arms' over these figures.

I'd like to see the actual number and type of faults before making a judgement TBH

Robert back to topic it seems that some 4x4 drivers just do not get the thing about mirrors. I belive that even one of them was quoted as saying he did not need them.

To mu mind it is these types that need pulled in more often along with the pick up and 2.5mtr Hobby brigade. Do these people not know that this is illegal.

Using clip on mirrors my be a legal requirement, I use them to keep on the correct side of the law, but over the years I have found them to be bloody useless, I can (no matter how hard I try to adjust the clips ons) always see more in the cars (Mondeo) own mirrors.
