Reich Mover Rollers

The rollers on my Reich mover have lost their grit (and, so, their grip!). It looks as though Reich realised grit surfacing was not good and have changed to a grooved aluminium type, which are direct replacements for the gritted kind - but very expensive. I have seen advertised a kit called 'Regrit-it' that can be used to resurface the old rollers.
Has anyone tried one of these kits and if so, was it any good, please?

In very simple terms to answer your questions, Yes and NO

Better to get the new style rollers.

I replaced mine at 7 years, much better grip than the grit rollers, been useing them for 2 years now, but very expensive.

The new ones have them already, on reflection i think buying another Riech would have been a better option.
