reich tap microswitch

Hi I am trying to fit a new switch to my tap i have it all stripped as per handbook, but i was wondering how u get the wires out from down the side of the tap and reconnect the new ones on it.

Thanks in advance

Andrew

Hi Andrew, The tap must be completly dismantled to fit a new microswitch. When you reassemble the new wires fit down the one side between the cartridge and the body of the tap. When you have it apart you will see a recess for the wires. hope this helps.

HI thank you for your answer but i have it totally stripped down to the switch and i can see the wires disappearing down the side of the tap, i was wondering do i just pull them out and push new wires down or is there a more sceintific way of doing it lol.

Thanks

Andrew

Hi, I dont think you will be able to feed the wires down the side of the tap internals. I had to remove the tap internal ceramic cartridge, feed in the new wires and replace the ceramic incert and locking collar. It is a complete tap stripdown.
