Does anybody know the best rouye N to S in and out in the D844, do we go through the middle or do the northern loop onto theA34 then south to the D944 . We always end up on the A4 and have to go to Chaumont to return to val de vesle on the D944.Thanks in advance Jim
 
See your problem ! How about staying with A4 just beyond Sotrie 23, then taking A34 noth for a short distance until you get to D944. Michelin map is not vry clear about this junction. Suggest you look at it on Google Earth abd check it out.

If Ok it would avoid towing through the centre of Reims, always a good thing to do.

Would be interested to know how this works out if you try it.
