Did I hit a nerve? I do hope so. This is how you treat everyone else with comments like "child killer" etc
I love the comment about "unfriendly to the environment". Ace from someone who is supposed to drive a car with a bigger engine than most 4x4's. very good!
OK, lets work out how they are going to deal with this shell we? OK, the problem you say is the use of 4x4's to pick up kids and use in town by the rich people. these people buy these cars because they use them as a statement of "how rich they are". OK so lets tax them higher shell we, make them more of a statement! nice
So that will not work, so lets try a "means tested tax". I own a plot of land so I am exempt. emm, rich people buy a few Fields and stick a horse in them! No that did not work either.
So, cant tax a 4x4 so lets tax big cars, emm your car has a bigger engine than mine so you get a bigger bill! Now I like that!!
Injuries? OK, lets look shell we,
Transport statistic bulletin 1996 - 2000 title - risk OF FATAL OR SERIOUS INJURY (%) during an accident either pedestrian or occupant

OK, your car is more dangerous than mine in standardised (corrected for number of accidents compared to cars on the road) figures published by the government national statistics office
SO, you say you don't care about the number of driving wheels but you do about the environment and pedestrians. So when do we get to see your car up for sale then??
