Remi rooflight position

Hi, we havea Bailey Series 5 Pageant witha Remi rooflight. When the rooflight is open it rests on the fore-aft rubber seals. Somehow this does not seem right as the seals depress where the edge of the rooflight rests. Do other Pageants do the same or does the rooflight stay elevated above the saels on its struts?

Hi OC

I've just had a look at our Remis on the Oklahoma and it does rest on the seals but you can push it up off them.

Standing on the seat and loking at the roof there are two short grey arms that allow the roof to be pushed upwards an inch or so thus clearing the seals.

Hi John,

Thanks for the quick return. Mine can be pushed up on its short arms so it can be moved backwards and forwards, but I felt that there ought to be dampers in the arm links to keep them up in the air. But givng it more thought if that were the case then wind would blow the rooflight around.
