Remis Extractor Fansystem (FAO Maureen)

Hi Maureen,

Sorry about the reply I only picked up your posting today. First point of call was to Remis in Germany by E mail then I presume their agent/Rep for the U.K sent me a reply. The company who will be supplying these units are Nova Leisure on 01604-780022. These will not be available till the end of Feb and as yet I have not had any specifications back from Remis and I have not spoken to nova lesiure.

Hi Rob...thanks for the info. I'll give my dealer a few days to get back to me as he's liaising with Bailey first. If he comes back to me with bad news at least I'll have a telephone number to pass on.

I have already emailed Remis in Germany...but am still waiting for a reply!

Thanks again...Maureen

Hi Maureen and John.

Spoke to Nova leisure today. The Remis unit is 40cm x 40cm and will fit the aperture that the omnivent has. The problem is it come in two parts the clear Remis roof light with crank handle and then a twin extractor, one on each side. Approx cost

Hi again Rob

Cheshire eh

They do a good breakfast at Spinney.

We are a few miles down the A50/34 just past Freeport in a vertical direction on a level with the Wedgewood Memorial

Hi John,

Yes the breakfasts are very good, but a little overpriced. We are in north Cheshire between Lymm and Warrington.

Hi John,

Well you will know the Farmers Arms,Dog and Partridge and the Stocks well. Used to frequent the Farmers on Fernhead Lane when we lived in Bruche quite a lot and I sometime go in the Dog, but the main watering hole is the Railway at Heatley. If you have been there it has not changed since the 60s,except the landlords. Still a great spit and sawdust pub but terrible boddies but thats down to to landlord, coulden't keep a dog never mind a good pint.

Anyway getting off pubs this Bailey Burgendy has got one of the worst drain off systems for the toilet I have come across, pull out the bung and all the fresh water and pink go on the floor and does not have a drain off tube so you can drain into the waste master, then dribbles into the lower toilet cassette area. The previous thetford had a tube that was used as a water volume area and a drain off, but this one is about as good as a chocolate fire guard. Any good idias?

The 1664 in the Railway is good! But its even better in Normandy and not as expensive.

Agree about the drain off on the later (swivelling) toilets ---pink stuff everywhere.

Cinnamon Lane is where we lived(1st owner of one of the "new" bungalows!)------when we were young !!!

Hi John,

Yes I know Cinnamon lane, nice lane.

Any way I have set myself an objective, that being to stop the piddling pink dribbling all over the shoes.I will let you know the outcome when I have overcome the problem effectivly with the minimum cost.

Take care

Rob

I carry a length of clear plastic tube which I insert to reach the bottom of flush tank and syphon out the water rather than use the "drain" - clear so you don't get a mouthful!

Rob...You mention that the Remis Fan comes in two parts? I wonder if I already have 'one' of them! The rooflight that Bailey have put in the hole where the fan would go is a 400mm clear Remis rooflight( that is...it's got the same wind-up action!). Do you think I may only need the interior fitting? And maybe the company that is supplying yours may know?

Maureen
Hi Maureen,

Again sorry for the late reply.

How have you gone on with the dealer fast tracking the roof extractor system?

Nova leisure gave the impression that if you already have the Remies system in place you should only have to buy the extractor system at about
