If you mean the glue after you have removed the sticker Lisa try surgical spirits. Just do a small area at first then wash off with warm water to check that it doesnt affect the caravan finish. It shouldn't. If the sticker won't peel off the only thing I can think of is to score it but again you would have to be extra careful. Perhaps theres some dedicated sticker removers out there that someone knows of.

I can reccommend the hairdrier approach, I used to do that when I worked in car sales to remove gb badges etc

Beware - using stickers to cover damage, which may leak, is a well known dodge amongst caravanners and dealers.

It might be best to leave alone!

Hi,

I'm the Technical Manager for a company making 'stickers'. I know that the trade use the hairdrier trick to remove the film but this tends to leave the glue behind. If you do use this method, using surgical or methylated spirit should get the glue off but be careful of the van finish as this may be affected. The WD40 trick is also useful and less likely to cause harm to the finish. I would be happy to answer any other questions related to this issue.

the problem u cant get away from though is paint fade, if the sticker has been there a couple of years u are going to have a rather brighter patch on the vans paintwork, which as far as i know u can't do anything about.

P.s sorry, u could try polishing the surrounding area with t cut but remember a cvans paint is only microns thick, more than a few rubs and you'll be seeing shiny aluminium.
