removal tv aerial & heater duct of roof 2002 swift

hi just got a cover for the van over winter and i need to remove the aerial dish and heater flue prior to fitting cover ,any ideas ? cheers George

I never have never had an aerial dish so cant comment on that , but assuming you have a Truma heater, then the cowl on the roof is threaded and unscrews quite easily leaving the fitting that goes through the roof.
Do check in case anyone has put a small screw through the wall of the cowl to lock the thread.

If you have the flat round Status antenna, then the 'spike' unscrews easily, and this may be enough. If you need to remove the rest, it lifts off easily after loosening one Allen grub screw. You will need to disconnect the coax inside the van and probably remove any coax plug in order to feed the cable through the base fitting (which remains on the roof)
