Remove and install fridge

Hi everyone i was wondering if i can remove my Thetford fridge out of my 2008 Sprite Major 6 caravan and replace it with a different make one that is half the price, and is it a hard job

I was gonna replace it with another New 3 way fridge thats £350 odd rather than £800 to sell it.

Then the dimensions are very important. Also consider that the buyer should want assurances of gas safety, and that it is air tight to the interior.

Amazing how they invent these prices. I am looking to renew my American style fridge freezer at home for around that price which includes ice dispenser!

It is not a "hard" job as such in the physical sense, but it is very important that as it uses gas it is properly connected, tested and room sealed.

With a different make of fridge the flue will probably be in a different place and the gas connection may well be in a different place.

As you seem to have no relevant experience of working with such items I would advise getting a caravan engineer to do the work, if it is actually possible.
