Removing plastic corner steady pads

Hi.Could anyone tell me how to remove the plastic corner steady pads from my caravan please.

I know they have a retaining pin threaded through the bottom of the leg but i just cant seem to pull the pin out.

Any suggestions please?

brute force I'm afraid.

took me ages to get the first one off but once I'd figured it the rest were fairly quick in comparison.

Hi. I found that by turning the pin a quarter of a turn they pulled out easier. The bulb thingy on the pin that retains the pin is more oval than round. At least on mine it is. Henry.

It depends on tyhe make,mine have a small plastic circlip on the end of the pivot rod

Removed mine 2 weeks ago reversing into the garden 😱(
