Hi

I have a 2005 lagunadci - 120 and tow Ace Jubilee Envoy. I stay in north west scotland and have toured all over Britain, including down to Cornwall, as well as in France. car is a supberb towcar, plenty of power and you can use 6th gear! Will tow all day at french speed limits - higher than ours and is stable no matter how laden. It makes short work of hills - I had petrol laguna before 1.8 and this is far superior.

I had a 2002 2.2 dci for three years . Towed my Bailey Pageant S5 Vendee and an Elddis 505 before. Loads of power. Always felt the Vendee was a bit heavy and did fel the bow wave syndrome more often than I wanted. Lost traction once at a site near Pitlochry, my fault really but it did reveal the front wheel drive limitation.

mpg was very good and she went back at nearly 100k miles never missing a beat , original clutch.

Heavy on front tyres. The experts say Renaults are poor on electrics as they age but mine was fine at the time it went back.

Cheers
