Replacement oven needed - advice !

Recently purchased a 1992 Burstner motorhome and need to replace the oven and repair / replace the warm-air heater. New to this game so need some pointers in terms of suppliers, repairers, second hand (but still clean etc) items. etc

THANKS

have a search on google or whatever for caravan breakers.

There are a few good lists available for breakers all over the country.

You are most likely to find what you want there. However strongly recommend you get a qualified engineer to fit and test it. recommend you have any s/h gas appliance checked before purchase.

Hello Auriel,

Burstner Caravans will almost certainly have used Truma Heaters, and as such virtually all spare parts are available from or through most caravan dealers, However I do not know what ovens will have been used. Double check the gas pressure required, as at that time the continental standard was 50mB which was different to the UK 28mB Butane/37mB Propane.

Clives advice is paramount as some insurance companies will refuse payouts if gas work has not been done by a competent fitter.
