Replacement vent gasket

Hi my 2006 Luna frystar touring caravan needs a replacement vent gasket on the front of the van the old gasket was missing when I bought the caravan I have no idea what type of gasket to replace it with if anyone can help i would be grateful I've included a photo of the guley where the the gasket should go

I may be very wrong. But I suspect that that may be a gutter and supposed to be empty. The roof vents do not full seal by design to allow for some trickle ventilation.

I always grab my Seals+direct catalogue and their website https://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/. and if unsure I give them a quick email or phone call . You may have to take a wider view of the whole roof vent , I would think if the gutter is not intended to have a seal , then it would have a drain hole somewhere .Most roof vents have a raised lip to prevent water getting in and then a larger cover which Jcloughie says allows fresh air in , without letting water in.
 
SteG have you tried to Google"caravan vents for sale" or "used caravan vents for sale" or caravan vents "picclick" to see if there are any that's for sale,then you'll more than likely to find the make,, good luck
