Returning from France

A few queries for anyone who's been on holiday to france and returned recently:

1 Have the (modest) reductions in diesel been mirrored in France? What have you paid?

2 Has anyone used the services near the Tunnel terminal? We last used them when they had just been opened and there was no signing whatsoever for caravans.

3 The weather appears to have been very unsettled, especially on the West side. How was it for you??

Returned on 3rd August after 2 weeks of almost uninterupted sunshine near Avranches (Mont St Michel area). Cheapest diesel we bought at Leclerc was 1.29 Euros. On the return the last stations on the approach were I think Shell and were 1.51, which was not a bargain in comparison to what we paid on return in the UK (1.27 in Ashford). ON exit from the tunnel on 18th outgoing the desiel was 1.40 and the services spacious. Don't jnow whether the price has been dropping in the last few weeks as in UK. Mostly about 1.21 in Leicester area.
