I am not sure how reliable these reports are, do they use proper samples of owners or do they rely on people submitting reports, how subjective are they, are people who spend £50,000 more likely to "find" faults than the owner of a £15,000, what is a fault? It could be that Land rovers have lots of annoying faults like radio not working or phone not pairing and Skoda had really piss you off issues like breakdowns.
And they report faults per 100 cars so with Nissan 98 faults per 100 cars, that could imply only 2% are fault free or hypothetically 1 car could have had 98 faults so 99% are a fault free, My wife is on her 5th new Nissan of various models and never had a single fault,
