can anyone tell me how to stop the brakes comming on when i reverse my avondale ospray back into its storage pitch which is in a bit of an incline(it's a 2000 model)

There's an automatic device within the brakes which allows the wheels to rotate backwards even though the hitch over-run seems to be applying the brakes.

As long as your brakes are adjusted properly you shouldn't have any problem reversing, even on an incline.

If you are having a problem get the caravan serviced as this includes brake adjustment.
