Reverse light on Bailey Pageant??

If any one has a pageant bretagne or similar I would appreciate some help on this. Do you have a reverse light on your van?

How come some outfits have a beeping noise when in reverse. We have neither, surely this is not right?

Hi Brenda,

The beeping noise you described is from a special reverse light bulb that can be bought over the internet. like this oone from ebay :

Unfortunately, if there is no reverse light on your caravan its of no use to you (unless you fit it to your car).

Hi Brenda..

The quick answer is NO..

At least on the series 5. The reversing light is taken from the car on pin 1 of the Grey cable, this should be the yellow core which has been snipped off at the point where the grey cable connects into the bottom of the fuse box.. ( It may also be that it as not connected in the grey plug..)

I can see no reason why you can't pick up this wire and extend it to the rear of your van and fit your own reversing light and or beeper if you wish too..

But it would involve unscrewing the fusebox ( if it's not already falled off like mine ) so that you could get access to the end of the grey cable.
