reversing sensors

I have a vectra with parking sensors then had the towbar fitted ( vauxhaull genuine swan neck type ), and have experienced no problems with my sensors picking up towbar, only thing that does annoy me is it obviously picks up van on back hence constant buzzing reversing van.

I have front and rear parking sensors on my 2004 Shogun. My Mitsubishi dealer fitted switches to both front and rear sensors. When hitched up I switch of the rear sensors. When I switch of the engine and then restart it the sensors automatically switch themselves on again, so having unhitched the caravan you cannot get caught out when reversing!

Have a word with your dealer.
