River Tilt or Tummel Valley

Hi Ewen,

haven't used it myself, but my brother has been to the Blair Castle site (Blair Atholl) and recommends it.

When are you thinking of going? I passed it on the way down to Glasgow today and theres a bit of flooding in some areas, though nothing too drastic,

Gavin.

Blair Castle site is large but well tended. I much prefer it to Faskally where many of the pitches are on quite a slope.

Ewan, we go to Milton of Fonab in Pitlochry every year. It is a very attractive site and within easy walking distance of the town centre. There are kids toys provided near the wardens office (bikes and carts etc) but no facilities as such. Blair Atholl site is good as well although there is not that much in Blair Atholl apart from the castle. That said it is a beautiful village. Steer clear of Faskally unless you like a bit of rowdiness. The latter is a fair bit away from the town centre.

Andy.
