I have a Fiamma Caravanstore roll out on my camper van, bought last August. I also intended to use it on my caravan, which is why I bought a roll out instead of a fixed awning,(ie, fixed to the side of the van in a box).
However, I've now found that the awning rail on the caravan is too low and the door catches on the awning bag! Just something to watch for.
On the camper, it works very well, but be aware that you may well need to take it down in strong wind.
I'd also recommend that you buy the extra rafter rail.

hi, after a lot of research (weight, price, tent to go under it etc) we settled on the Thule Omnistore. It's great! We've not looked back, even used it without the 'tent' for a week in Normandy last October.

It only takes us about 10 minutes to set up, though we do need to take extra steps as we're both under 6 foot.

We only had one night when we were concerned about high winds and rain; Mr H dutifully got out of bed in the middle of the night to drop one of the legs so rain could run off and consequently got soaked :(

We wouldn't go back to a proper awning for love nor money!
