On my new, to me, Elddis, the large clear rooflight lets in loads of sunlight (you remember sunlight) Won't this bleach the upholstery? If I leave the blind/shade pulled over, won't that weaken the return spring? What to do???

I think it is best to keep the blind closed when in storage but open when travelling.
Same goes for the side windows.

Others may tell you different.
 
My caravan came from the dealer with a sticker on each of the side windows that the blinds should not be shut when the caravan is in storage. However, the blinds on the rooflights aren't spring loaded so no sticker.
