Roof

I have owned My 2003 Abbey Archway Royale 550 for 2 1/2 years now and have just noticed the external roof seems to be floating and become detached from whatever it should be fixed to. It doesn't leak and there is no damp. When I bought the caravan from a local dealer it was in the showroom all nice and shiny and they valeted it before I took it home. Is 2 1/2 years a reasonable time for this type of room problem to occur or have they deliberately kept it quiet as they would have seen it when valeting.

It is NOT a problem.
None of the Swift group vans have a bonded roof.
It is NOT attached to anything apart from the sides and where roof vents etc come through the roof.

Our 2008 Abbey is the same. We get an alarmingly large puddle on the roof where it's normally parked, which worries Mrs G - I keep an eye on it, and it's checked at each service. It makes we envious of Bailey owners (well almost). My old Ace with boat roof never had this problem.
