Rough Camping

Can anyone comment on the legalities of rough camping with the van in public areas such as laybys on the shore of Loch Earn. Obviously if there are signs saying no overnight camping then we can't but what if there are no signs.

I'm not looking for a definate legal reaponse but more people's opinions on whether they would do it or not. Thanks.

Hi Nick we have camped just about most places on the lochs many years ago but now with the nutters that are around would not advise it. Safety first mate.
