Route to CC site at Skegness.

We are taking the grandaughter to the CC site at skegness for may day weeekend, I am unsure of the best route from south Yorkshire,

some route finders send me the traditional way through Bawtry, Gainboro, market Raisen, and other route finders send me up the M18, M180 then on the A18 past Humberside airport.

Has anyone any experience and can recommend the best route,

WE go to Skeggy often from just north of Gainsborough, I would say definately Bawtry, Gainsborough, Market Rasen, Louth Bypass then onto skeggy, its your most direct route and is no problem towing, just be aware that some fridays, late afternoon, early evening (bank hol weekends etc) the traffic can start to build up crossing the river at gainsborough, although this year the traffic lights on the bridge have been altered which is supposed to improve things.
