Route to Lake Garda from Calais

Hi, we are towing a caravan and would like to know the best (least hills/mountains, to go from Calais to Bardalino, Lake Garda. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, although looks like he went through Austria. We didn’t really want to do that as so much longer. Really want to know if Mont Blanc or Gotthardts is best, in that which has the best/least climbing route when towing

Ask Grey13 by PM or read the posts that come up in the search terms I gave you. Modern outfits shouldn't be fazed by hills on through routes.

Not sure about less hills but it might be cheaper, you can get one day Vignets, for Austria, where as you have to pay a full years Vignets for car and caravan in Switzerland.

Hi, We have been to Bardolino 3-4 times and always go through the Mont Blanc tunnel, not too bad regarding hills.
