Rowntree Park CC Site

Site is well up to Club standards. I think that most of the pitches are hard standing. It is excellent for York as you can leave the site by a gate at the back, walk up a street and see the city walls. It is about 10 mins. walk to the centre of York.

Main problem is the site can flood. The river is just outside the entrance to the site. We have made bookings in the past and then had to move to the other Club site due to risk of flooding. I am sure though that there is sufficient warning and the site can be cleared through the rear gate. Don't be put off by this, it is a gem of a site and we have used it many times. You will have to book in advance as it is very popular.

Just to warn you that this site is always very heavily booked....well in advance.It might be as well to check if they have any vacancies as soon as possible.
