We have purchased one of those Rugbuddy's from Bewarmer plus the underlay. We have it between the two front bunks and it makes a huge difference as we do not have to have the heating on more than 20C.
Ours is 1.5m long and .5m wide and draws about 90w. it switches on an off itself as it gets to the correct temperature. As we have the underlay and heat rises, the floor itself is only slightly warm, but the carpet is a lot warmer. Happy chappies with warm feet! π
I did have a think about using this type as it's only 48v and the do several widths so it would be quite easy to do all of the main floor area, they use this type in Sweden ... π

Both the wife and myself suffer from cold feet so having warm feet is a real boon especially as I suffer from arthritis.
Your link refers to underfloor and not under carpet so may be slightly different?
